System structure

Characteristics
BASWAphon Base is the coarsest of the BASWA coating compounds. The grains have a diameter of up to 0.7mm. Therefore the surface is relatively rough and porous, but finer than that of conventional machine-applied plaster. The coating compound BASWAphon Base is water repellent. It is not water-soluble and therefore cannot be removed after it sets. BASWAphon Base can be dyed in all shades. Contamination can be prevented, or removed easier later, by subsequent post-treatment using the surface protector.
